“I have had the pleasure of working with Rachel Schwartz of The ZAP Group for almost a year. Rachel and her family joined Noe Pond because it is such a great place for children and their parents to have fun, learn life lessons, and bond with friends and family. After joining the Club, Rachel essentially said that it was fortunate that our Club was as good as it is, because our social media presence and imaging were not especially effective. (I think she actually muttered, rightfully, the following adjectives – “dated, confusing, disorganized, and off-target.”) While slightly offended, I listened carefully to what Rachel had to say and several things became apparent. Rachel is a subject matter expert. Rachel is the most passionate person I have ever worked with. And Rachel owns every aspect of the project and cares deeply about the results.
Specifically, Rachel pointed out that our logo, while full of heritage, was too busy, did not work on shirts, letterhead, or Instagram very well. She noted that our tag-line did not convey what Noe Pond is all about. And she explained why our website pulled no traffic. As any true professional should, she submitted a detailed plan with benchmarks, dates and dollars to Noe when pitching her services. Over an incredibly intense 3 month period, Rachel fixed all of these problems and stuck to her plan and budget. She engaged people in our demographic to provide needed objective feedback on all of our new ideas. She was relentless in her pursuit of the “perfect” logo, despite our side having too many “cooks in the kitchen.” Overall, Rachel delivered everything that she promised.
As background, my career has spanned 40 plus years and I have been a C-level executive for the last 30 years in a variety of industries. It is rare to find someone with Rachel’s sense of what will work, who to engage to help the project get to the finish (on time and on budget), and who treats your business as if it were her own.
